How We Met

We saw each other a few times, before the official "meeting" story; but, LeeAnn would tell you her interest started with a kitchen. She had gone to a party at a mutual friends house, and saw Steve there cleaning up the kitchen. She knew something had to be right with this guy, if during a party, he'd help out at someone else's house while everyone else played. It helped that he was gorgeous, too! We flirted the night away, and then the next day at an Institute class he asked her soon-to-be-roommate out on a date! In his defense, he had intended on asking LeeAnn out; but felt prompted to ask her friend out, instead. LeeAnn "got" to go on the date, too, as her friend made sure she came along with another guy. So, for our first "date" we were actually out with other people. We continued to see each other at different events, and eventually LeeAnn decided this gorgeous, really nice guy was totally worth chasing... so she did. Thankfully, he had been interested all along, so the "catching" didn't take long! We were practically inseparable from there on out, and have been best friends ever since.
